In 1998 I decided that it was time to record some of the songs I had written over the years as well as some of the new ones I had been working on. A good friend of mine, Matthew Snell, who owns a recording studio (More Than Music) took on the challenge of working with me. Over the next two years Matt rebuilt his studio with all sorts of expensive equipment to try and capture the essence of Rick Curtright. Finally in the year 2000' we decided to just go for it. With the help and talents of a few close friends; Pete Sigmund, T L Wahl, & Joaquin Cano, we went to work on my CD titled "YOU AIN'T DEAD YET". This recording was done in one day, with-out retakes, which is as close to being live as it gets. The first song on this CD titled "Sing Your Song", speaks of the voice in each of us; express yourself and share the unique talents that only you possess. |
